
The primary aim of the position will be to conduct anthropological research efficiently and effectively and ensure that research is reported effectively and accurately. This position is based in our South Hedland office.
Your duties will include:
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Anthropology, preferably with Honours, or relevant post-graduate qualifications. Experience in working with Aboriginal people is also desirable.
A sound working knowledge of Anthropological theory and practice, strong understanding of Aboriginal cultures and heritage as well as Native Title and Aboriginal Heritage legislation is essential. Additionally, you will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong organisational skills and be able to work cooperatively as part of a team in diverse settings. You will also have sound judgement and analytical skills, personal drive and integrity with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
A current driver's licence is required.
